much wormer than later on in the day, south of us on that front just a little piece of energy, you can take up a little twist there coming in north central mississippi. this is moving off toward the east-northeast. if you follow the dra tray correct try here boom toward dc. showers redeveloping for the afternoon. not a very warm afternoon. when you get the clouds to roll in, sun angle not that strong this time of year, we are not going to see much warming. by lunch time showers in the shanendoah valley, central maryland, montgomery county, you may see a sprinkle here. the threat for showers is north and west of dc. overnight scattered showers just about anywhere, even toward tomorrow morning there might be a lingering shower early. south and east of town. clouds will break up toward midday. we'll have temperatures tomorrow closer to 60 as opposed to the mid-50s. on wednesday ahead of this front, coming down, we are going to shoot temperatures up toward 70. as the front comes through wednesday, doesn't look like it is going to have much moisture to work with. i think the front comes thr

the weekend we asked him about his preparations for this debate on thursday and what kind of energy he expects the vice president to bring. this is what he had to say. >> well, i guess we don't have the sound, which makes for a funny joke, here's what he had to say, quiet. he said something, ron. can you tell us what he said? >> reporter: basically he expects vice president biden come out like a cannonball and maybe perhaps in reaction to the president's performance at the debate last wednesday. so paul ryan has acknowledged that joe biden has far more experience assist a debate than he does. joe biden has been in public life for 40 years. paul ryan is not a newcomer by any stretch of the imagination. he has seven terms in the u.s. house under his belt. i think his posture over the weekend, he went to a pumpkin patch with his family. he's trying to stay focused but trying to relaxed. one of the things etsd is his key for him is to be himself. he knows what to believe, and he needs to articulate that to the american people in the debate in kentucky on thursday. >> thank you, ron. we greatly app

romney a lot more energy. it's not unprecedented for an incumbent president to lose a debate. people were watching this and romney performed very well. if he can capitalize on the second look there's a lot he can do in terms of selling policies and arguing against the president. however many undecided voters are left will break one way or the other and that's why these debates so important. >> if the debate gave romney the much needed shot in the arm, the president has to be happy with friday's jobs report, the unemployment rate down 8.1% to 7.8%, now the lowest since the president took office. does that help the president at this point or is the economy baked into this election? >> both things are probably true. the point that you made about the lowest level since he took office, that's important. we're already seeing in polling are more optimism among voters about the economy. that all is to the president's benefit but a very weak rae covery. 114,000 jobs is not very robust at all. you still have a very high percentage of those who have been out of work for six months or more so the eco

in one day in ohio. we have great energy. the governor's going to win this state, it's going to be close, he's going to win. >> he said race changed on wednesday he's talking about the debate. yeah. i don't think so. i'm not feeling it on the ground. i've been here in ohio. i don't feel it. i think people definitely have an opinion about how the debate went, but at the end of the day it's going to matter about what policies. if mitt romney is going to privatize the medicare program and turn it into a voucher system, and the voucher only goes up two or 3% a year when everyone knows health care costs don't go up 2 or 3% a year, or gut the medicare program, we were a he an older state, we have a lot of seniors that access the medicaid programs for nursing homes, people who have children with disabilities access the medicaid program in ohio, when they see the romney/ryan budget when it hits the ground, he's going to lose. he's just not going to be able to carry enough independent voters. as i said on top of the auto rescue, we have people that have actually felt the obama policies help them.
